Jeffrey (Jeff) D. Simon is President of CIT Vendor Finance, Global Major Relationships.

Simon has more than 20 years of experience in vendor finance, leasing, business credit, corporate development and investor relations. Simon joined CIT in 1988 as a management trainee and in 1990 transferred to the Los Angeles office, where he held a variety of management positions until he was promoted to Senior Vice President in 1993. In 1997, he was named Senior Vice President of Corporate Development and Investor Relations. In 1999, he joined CIT Vendor Technology Finance as Senior Vice President of Corporate Development and was appointed to his current position in 2000.

He serves on the Board of Directors of Snap-On Credit Inc., a joint venture between CIT and Snap-On Tools. He also serves as a member of the Museum Council of the Newark Museum.

Simon received his BS in Business Administration from Emory University and attended the executive management program at the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor.
